Anak Songeh dan Malam Bulan Mengambang

Both of them are exploring the world at a very fast speed and sometimes its scary thinking about the exposure and experience around them, scolding and yelling will not help, one solution is by using gentle words with praise...even if I ask for a little help.

Big sister is helpful with setting the table before dinner and sometimes taking care of his little brother.

She went out with abah last night to buy her favourite nasi ayam and along the way abah was preaching...and she replied : 'Kakak nak jadi anak songeh'......ohhhhh...;-))

Anak soleh la tu..songeh means banyak hal..kecoh...haiii sabar je laaa...

On the other hand, Hadif is the one I think..he is the 'anak songeh'...banyak songeh..he is so demanding, moody, choosy...typical middle child

And last night the moment he step into the house he started crying just because he still wants to play outside at the porch..pujuk macam-macam tak jalan...throwing tantrum....after 30 minutes he's done with his bad mood..then came again another character...cry again...then came out from his shell with another demanding act...ohhh pening...

And when abah look at the sky he just noticed that it was full moon...

abah: 'tengok tu..(pointing at bulan penuh)..patut la perangai macam ni..ni semua effect dr bulan mengambang..'

hahaaha.....anak banyak songeh di malam bulan mengambang penuh ...

Zoo Negara trip

As a person who loves nature, I do sometimes feel confuse and caught in between...but for the sake of giving the kids some exposure to wild, a visit to zoo negara was something that we look forward.

We were up at the entrance at around 10.45am after having breakfast on the go..they both we excited since Friday and have actually told their teachers about this trip.

Its nice and pleasant place with reasonable entrance fee (RM20 -adult and RM9 for children)

We walk around and stop by at each 'CAGE' for a better view and some photos..pity those animals who have to be in this place with concrete floor and cage and now real wild life...but maybe this is the best for them and their species at this moment

Sufiya and her tebu...feeding the elephant, RM3 per stick..she feed the giraffe as well and has been asking to feed the lion too... :-P

A small river flowing in the heart of this place....its hard to find a clean and clear river in KL nowadays...

We toured most of the compound and hop on the tram later because the little one were already tired...

It was a fruitful day but I had a trouble at night where Hadif has been crying for more than one hour...hmmm..as usual...

You know them too well..

Well as people always says..what goes around comes around..

Newfound gem in Kinabatangan

Another journey to Kinabatangan..for work but at the same time I had a chance to explore the other part of Sabah which are adventurous and exciting...

It was the same flight MH2710 at 8.05 and the journey took two hours and fourty five minutes..

I went alone to Sandakan this time around..MH2710 ..ready for boarding

Smooth take off..
View of Penisular Malaysia and a long and winding river crossing the green vegetation..its the same route but the vista is different base on our seat, I choosed 10A..next time I should avoid this seat..not the best place unless you want to sleep and not care about the view

Cumulus Nimbus...the cloud formation looks like a cotton candy..fluffy..anyone seen Dibo the Gift Dragon could recognized this kind of cloud..:-) Sufiya's favourite....

I like this photo..black and white mode..mcm gambar zaman dulu2...

Another photo..in negative mode, I just my N82 to captured all these, there are not sharp enough but I like the effect , its kind of looking at war film...with fighter jet and clouds...

Remember this contest last few month...'Saya Nak Cuti'-MAS I sat next to this student from UPM-Vet student, shes among the winner and got herself a package for tour in Sandakan...this is one of the winner, she boarded the plane with MAS crew, complete with cameras and video for the shooting..
Introducing..Fadzillah..or well known as Fad...the winner..we stay at the same hotel and our iternary are almost the same....but mine without any sponsor of coz...big clap to her..next year the prize will be bigger and there'll be package to Europe...

I had murtabak as usual and I think that the size was a bit smaller...or maybe I was hungry...

Sabah waterfront...the have many beautiful islands and rivers that need to be explored...
Kinabatangan river...I'm still waiting for a chance to explore this river as what was shown in the tv where that small boy told her classmate about his experience...cuti-cuti Malaysia..next trip..ok next trip...

Swiss Inn Waterfront-Sandakan..I stayed at the same hotel, convinient and clean without 24 hours electricity and clean water and free wifi at all floors and warm staff.....
My blue room..previously I stayed in all red room...but I like the colour scheme...

We left for Kinabatangan at 1pm..it was drizzling and we stop by at Sepilok- Ornag Utan Rehabilitation Centre..feeding time is at 3pm so we headed to Kinabatangan..maybe next trip I could see these orang utan who wear watches...seriously...!! they where Guess, Tag H, Seiko...no kidding

Orang Utan Adoption form..helping them to survive..

I finished my task in Kinabatangan at 5.30pm..it was a headache but we managed to sort it out...and I asked to stop by at Kinabatangan River, but the driver used to be a tourist guide and he brought us to this place...

We had to drive on muddy road, rough terrain with no electricity along the way only rubber trees as a sheild from the sun, it took about 30-45 minutes from the main road to reach this place...we passed by Kampung Bilit, a very small village
This is the jetty by the Kinabatangan river for 2 and half hours river cruising...if you are lucky you could catch a glimpse of the famous Kinabatangan crocodile..and if you are not lucky....okay...don't simply sit on the jetty and play with the water....

A room with a spectacular view..spaciour bedroom with queen size bed, single bed and extra bed..the charges are per head, full board inclusive of river cruise, bed, F & B,...

You'll wake up each morning and wild birds will greet you, and the river flows smoothly...the air is fresh..you can hear the sound of jungle..I don't know how to describe it, but if you've been trekking or mount climbing, then you'll know the sound of the jungle....

The place that I just discovered is The Myne Resort,Sukau ...been operated for a year now..situated in the middle of Kinabatangan..
View towards chalet from restaurant deck..all chalets are on stilts and most of the trees has been preserved..and guest are not allowed to wear any shoes in the restaurant and on the deck...bare foot and very humble way..
Restaurant overlooking the river...

The moment I step down from the car and saw the place, I knew that I'm going to stay here one day at least for one night...with this view of sunset..its hard to resist....all that I would love to do here is just relax..enjoy the sunset, watch the river flow slowly and make a u-turn here..hear the sound of the jungle and wait for a chance to see king of the jungle or a beautiful rare species birds..

Kinabatangan river with a beautiful backdrop at 7pm on April Fool Day....

I left the place with a hope that one day I'll come again..

It was already dark despite the actual time which wa only about 45 minutes after seven. I arrived at the hotel and was so tired..and wondering what was my kids doing in Kedah..

The next morning I went to Pasar Awam Sandakan , looking for fresh and cheap crab but unfortunately this time around, they are a little bit smaller but managed to get RM5 per kilo for family in Kedah and Penang..

Went to another market on the way to the airport..but they told me to come back in the evening..its just a small market by the roadside..

I check in at the aiport with a big polystrene full of crab, prawn and 'payau'-deer meat....

An old man with his family seat not far from me..he was calm even though it was a little bumpy when the plane hit the fluffy cloud..but the guy seating next to me was way different..hehe

I arrived in Putrajaya with wet and dripping polystrene..and immediately cut and distribute the 'payau' to my friends at the office....and I did not have enough time to rest and unpack my bag because the next day we left for Johor Bahru...its on the road life
