Demam Campak

He is still sleeping and I hope that he could sleep for another one hour..it was a sleepless night..the rashes appearead all over his body now and some on his feet. But luckily he is still an active boy, last year it was Sufiya's turn and today she could simply said '..eiii..muka adik biji-biji'...

I had this experience too during SPM trial exam..and my report card came with zero, zero, zero all over those column where it supposed to be C or B or A...and I had difficulty eating capati after recovery coz I had this wierd imagination of my face equal to a capati..notice the black dot on capati...:-P

Hope Hadif will get it over soon..till then

Update:

Hubby brought home this daun mambu (Azadirachta Indica) for traditional healing..rendam dlm air, dan bagi mandi...

Same goes with this biji ketumbar (coriander seed)

Pendekar Kecil & Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Hadif is already twelve months and celebrated his first birthday at this new house, he has started to walk for six or seven steps and few months from now his boundary for exploration wil be wider and that means more eyes will be on him to ensure his safety, people said that boys are more naughty and adventurous compared to girls..lets just wait and see.

And few years from now, he'll be running freely and by that time I just wish that I could enrolled him for martial art class..see mama have a BIG plan for this young man.. :-P

Not just any martial art but preferably 'Silat',..

My father has teached us (six girls) simple basic steps, but no further lesson on advance stage..and there was also no proper gelanggang except for our small living room, no bunga-bunga silat and pasang kuda-kuda. I grew up watching one of my relative used to teached a group of youngster infront of my house. The gelanggang was made up of guni tepung cap sauh and the area was light up by lampu gaslin...from my house I could see shadows with sharp movement and at that moment I wish I could join them.

And Pendekar Bujang Lapok is my all time favourite movie..

'Pendekar Mustar teaching Pasang kuda-kuda..'

I think one should not forget their roots no matter where they are, I love being a modern mom but deep down inside there is still a traditional part in me.

As for my husband's side, the kids can't depends on me to teach them of their Dada's culture therefore En Haffis please speak Benggali or Tamil with your child, I could only utter a few words which might sounds weird and lead to different meaning..Ayo..that's dangerous kan..! This last few weeks Sufiya has been watching this talent search program on Zee TV and there is no chance for us to switch channel, she just loves watching the kids singing in Hindi..:-) and everyday we have to make sure that only track no.12 song played in the car, she keep on asking for that Chaya Chaya song..the one that Shah Rukh Khan dance on top of moving train...

Have a great week a head people and don't forget your root :-)

Note to Birthday Boy

Dear Hadif,

It was already 4 days behind schedule, you was supposed to arrived last few days but you choosed to remained for a while in that comfort zone with no worries. So mama decided to go to Sadiq's for nasi kandar and after a hearty meal, went straight to the bank to withdraw some cash. It was a long Q, and it felt heavy down there but there was no any sign yet.

Your Mak Tok insisted us to go to the hospital for a check up since she taught that I was ready for the big moment..and she was right...after half hour my big belly was strapped with green belt, the doctor gave a green light to proceed to the labour room.

I learned a lot from first experienced and managed to control the pain and try not to inhale ethonoks due to its effect, I did practised what I read from all those website on controlling labour pain and breathing technics as well as some simple doas...Alhamdulillah after few hours, and at 7.14pm you were born..what an easy journey for my little boy......and choosing a name for you was not hard either..therefore Happy Birthday Mohamed Hadif

Hadif and Sufiya..they make us smile and laugh and cry

Hadif : bulat mata tengok flash :-P

Arhghhh..I loves his sweet smile..my handsome boy..

Hadif: always remember that even though your Kakak Sufiya loves to teased you and knock your head..deep down inside she loves you.

-Hope you'll be a great man one day-

p/s: Abah, what did you get your son for his big day...? amboii secret secret sampai simpan dalam store tak bagi i tengok..!! hahaha

Loves, hug and kissess

-Mama-

Berani tapi takut

Back in the 80's Fun Fair and Pesta was highlight of the year, that was the time to enjoy the ride of Merry go round and kecut perut from the top of hanging cage with jagung rebus dalam tangan....rumah hantu was a must-visit to test our level of ketahanan mental and buang suara menjerit like hell upon seeing white entity with pale face by the staircase...

But my little girl experience it in a different environment..no ticket, no need to wait for bas bandaran and no need to wait for December to come..

This girl berani tapi takut..

Nak naik..tapi...

Hadif with 'Kicap' pose..anybody who watch Tom Tom Bak will know this character..but poor hubby thought that I perli my own son..isshh issh..tak kan la pulak..

Hadif..selamba je tengok his sister crying out loud..

Balik Kampung

What would you do after a long stressful week stuffing your head with words and figures and sections and clauses..? I simply choosed to drive back to Kedah and enjoy the scenery along the highway, especially around Perak where hills are covered by mist after heavy rain, but the landscape are changing due to some blasting for marble I guess, but the moment we entered Jelapang padi territory, a refreshing flat green of paddy field greeted us with small hills as a backdrop but the majestic Gunung Jerai was a bit shy to greet us and she was hiding behind a thick jerubu..

Enough stuffing my brain, it was my stomach's turn that need to be filled with Gulai Nangka and ikan temenung lemak, Laksa and Mirinda oren, Mee Sharif and Nasi Lemak Ali..all accomplished in two days...leeegggaaaa

Its been many years I haven't been to a waterfall, the last time was three months a go but that was just like nothing because I just sat by the edge and let Hadif dip his feet in the water..therefore last week I managed to let my in law and family to take care of my kids while I enjoyed myself berenang-renang ke tepian di Titi Ayun..leeggaaa sekali lagi..

Sufiya had a splashing good time too, so does Hadif but I think I was the one who over indulged..sorry En Haffis, didn't informed you earlier about my mission..

No photos taken at Titi Ayun due to my mandi manda and guess what I did take any lunch that day sebab sibuk berendam.

Sorry Aishah coz I did not call you to exchange plants that we promised, my schedule was damn pack..nanti I balik kampung kita arrange okay?

Even thou our holiday was just four days and we have to rushed to Penang, I managed to attend my friend's wedding whose uncle is my late uncle's friend and their aunties are my mom's friend..belit-belit....the bride and groom are actually tiga pupu, kes kawin sedara mara..

It was all Bollywood with splashing bright and colourful sarees, lenga suit and panjara. The wedding was filled with Hindi songs and the house was decorated with typical Pakistani wedding deco. It has always been an exciting wedding to attend when it comes to theirs, I remember about 20 years ago it was just the same ambience, there are colours everywhere and the food are lavish and people speak Pakistan everywhere...Irshad can confirm this :-P

Cik adik ni dok cari 'akim' all the the time..that's an ice cream in her hand

By 5pm the same we were already in Penang and hubby already spoilt me with pulut durian, popia basah and pasembor plus burger for supper after his usual 'meeting' or 'punch card' at Kapitan with Ahmad, his BFF....mcm high school la pulak

Sufiya got no problem this time around except for Hadif who just want to be with us especially his abah,...so Dadi and Dada had a hard time to manja with cucu sorang ni..

We travelled back to Putrajaya on Sunday but before that we had majlis akikah to attend at Flat 100, the ceremony was for little boy who I can't recall his name..Sorry Abdul, panjang sangat, tak sempat nak ingat nama dia..anyway he was so good just lie down on his pram without making any fuss..

It was supposed to end in a good mood, but it turn out the other way, Sufiya was running around on a concrete floor but to her it was like a green fielld..and she slipped and fell back...I was nervous, but angry at the same coz someone kat blok D Dosh tu dok scolded me for not taking care of her..hello cik abang, can you explain the tersepit jari kat keta incident, and jatuh berdarah bibir di Jusco..?? At that particular moment I felt like I just want to fly back to Putrajaya without him..sakit hati..I repeat Sakit hati tau..!! you can't simply point your finger in that situation, what you should do is take a look at your child whether she bleed or check for any bruises..pls don't make it worst.....hmmmmmm...leeggaaa sekali lagiii

Okay I have let it all out...BUT I'm still nervous, I don't like this waiting game, the result will be out in 3 weeks..3 killing weeks. I've done my part and it's up to Him. I'm doing this not merely for personal achievement but for my family, so that I have a choice, added value and better opportunity...

Quick update ...

Everything went back to normal...Alhamdulillah but we still need extra precaution and safety measure due to human factor pulak..we need extra padlock with sensor and whatever technology in the market..

I'm very busy at this moment, just four days before the Big Exam..going to 'markas' for some discussion and revision..the more we read, the more we feel like we don't a lot pf things..sigh...

The kids are behaving well..but Sufiya keep on asking about her abah who is in KK now, he just came back from Penang and spent only few hours at home and the next morning flew to Bintulu and the following day he is in Sabah and only be back by Saturday...I think she understand the situation coz she keep on saying ..'abah kija'..but Hadif as usual did not realised that abah is not around but he moment he sees his father, he will cry out loud and from that moment he'll be on his abah's lap..tak lekang..

They like to buli each other..tak bagi chance kat kakak dah..previously Hadif was the one who always cry..but not its vice versa..

No matter how busy, we still need to spend time with them especially outdoor, she always asked me to go out..'jom, tengok pokok..'..or..'nak jom' the moment she sees he abah in different attire.

Will update later..I need to go to 'markas' now..please pray for me..this is really big thing and very important for my whole journey in this field..

3 in 1 Entry

Moving house is a tiring business even though it is not that far, just about one km from our previous one but the process of packing and unpacking and sorting which to bring and which goes to the dustbin makes us tired for a week, with a smaller storage area we now could let go the feeling of 'sayang nak buang'...so there goes old magazine, catalogues from PC Fair and Archidex to tong hijau and also samples of materials which by now are not available in the market.

Hadif was so adventerous..climbing and sitting comfortably inside the box and his sister beaming with a smile on our last day at our old house...photo taken few hours before we moved out.

Postcard from P16: view from living room towards his office and mine, we got the best view of sunset from here and the sky is always perfect for those who own DSLR camera to captured these scene..

I miss my red wall, it was supposed to be decorated with painting but from August 2004 until April 2009 the wall was just like that..it is a shear wall and hard to drill..

This house is not ready for any guest yet due to improper condition with curtain campur-campur and multi coloured.

Hadif without his shirt on trying to expose his six pack and Sufiya with her favourite denim hat, she loves the camera

They both enjoy being at this new place, especially Sufiya who has started making friends with our neighbour's son..she and her friend keep on throwing stones into the sump...that might be the best game right now

...........................................................................

It's been quite sometime I have not post any entry on Interior Design, so here are photos from yesterday's visit to Bangsar, a high end showroom (above a car showroom)..

As usual, everything comes with a price, not just three figure tag but way damn expensive one, all equipment are imported from Germany and the designs are chic and clean and up to date and guess what, their chopping board is heavier than my dining table and it cost RM10,000 plus plus..I'm not kidding, and the fridge which have similar design that appeared in Mr and Mrs Smith are RM80,000.00...got money everything can marrr...

A sculpture-like-bowl here cost more than RM1000.00 , they are stainless steel and I think they should not left in kitchen but could be a centre piece in living room as well.
...........................................................................

I've longed for this trip and finally today I had a chance to touch the intricate marble this jewel of Morocco..

Will update on this trip later... :-P

It's hard saying goodbye.....

"A baby is born with a need to be loved - and never outgrows it."
Frank A. Clark

Today is his last day at Taska One, I let him spent time there instead of staying with bibik so that his teacher dapat melepas rindu.

He was there since two months old, still need extra attention from everybody, never want to be alone and need to be cuddle all the time. And now after six months he became an active boy who crawled all over that babies room and need less attention..he recognized everybody around him now, starting to play with his friend even though it was not that socially advance...but this is a hard decision for me..

They have seen him developed from a small baby to a boy who likes to smile with his big round eyes.. :-)

I know that it will turn out with drama air mata but I've promised them that I will send a copy of Hadif's photo and video in CD.

Hadif with Cikgu Yati who is in London now...Cikgu Noor is on the left in purple t-shirt, she was the Hadif's former cikgu, but she went back to Indon and never came back....but I like her, I like the way she talk to kids, the way she take care of them..she is soft spoken and Sufiya likes her very much and selalu mengekor sampai ke kitchen...

With Cikgu Twin...she have a sister who look exactly like her but they are not twin..but I like to call them twin anyway :-)...senang nak ingat

Cikgu yang jaga Hadif..Cikgu Along..who cried bersungguh-sungguh petang tadi..I could not look straight into her eyes..

The girls are so helpful sacrificing their weekend to take care of Sufiya and Hadif during my course in KL..I will always remember their help, attention and love to Hadif

New Abode

This will be our third house..our new nest for the next few years.

The first house that we rent was a walk up apartment in Puchong, it was just a small house for two people and we started our life there, knowing each other as husband and wife..we learned a lot of marriage up and down..

Eight months later we moved to 'rumah kantor' as what my bibik said yesterday..a government quarters in Putrajaya..an apartment with 1200sqft area and big enough for us to received and entertained family members from Penang and Kedah. Last three years we had 45 people (came in one bus) at this house..it was packed but the worst part is when they left..it felt so empty..and both of us decided to returned to the house only when we could accept that there will be only the two of us when we are home....that is why waiting for Sufiya was a precious moment.... :-)

The ladies room a night before my brother in laws wedding..the room was packed and some of them slept upright..no space to lie down

Sufiya was four months old..and centre of attention and our pride and joy

.......................

Maybe we could have housing warming together with birthday celebration :-P, next month...hint hint...

Double frontage house ...

Terrace where my roses will bloom...

There are some design failure especially the layout and space accommodation..but we can't do much, I've been to this house many times before for CPC Inspection..and now its a different experience

Precious moment with the kids

We enjoy Monday morning watching our roses blooming while the sky was grey..Sufiya loves the flower and also the camera..each time when I snap her photo, she would asked me,..'tengok..' and insist on taking more photo by saying..'mile, mile..' (which means - smile)

She could make a sentence now..'mama nak ayak', 'Hadif..!! NO!!',..or she would praised me every morning..'cantik, lawa' with her smile...

I loves the effect of lighting from this sheer curtain on her face..might turn it into black and white photo

These was taken last week, every weekend their father will be away, so the three of us will play with the camera.. :-P if we don't watch Little Einstein, or MMouse Club House...

Hadif is eight months now and tengah lasak keliling rumah and his favourite place is behind the TV rack where all the cables are, and he's not afraid of a vaccum cleaner at all compared to Sufiya who will cry upon seeing the black hose :-)

Sufiya's jubah and Hadif's are courtesy from their Mami Zainab...in one photo, Sufiya looks like orang Arab but in the other photo she looks like a Bhutani just like her Dada always calls her..or maybe Manisha Koirala...hehehe

Progress and milestone

Alhamdulillah we just received a good news from Penang that our niece is now no longer staying at NICU, things will be better soon, only God knows how we feel.

.....

On a lighter note: Hadif just moved forward to another level..yea!!..dah meniarap today on his own..rolled and rolled..and finally he did it, Sufiya and I were over excited rushing to get my handphone to captured those memorable moment :-)

The excitement is still the same even though this is the second one

We are always talking to Sufiya and teaching her all family member's name..so far she could says 'dada, dadi but sometimes dida, shhhaad (irshad), min (syamim) and lah for farehah..and yesterday when I asked her where's Farehah?

she said : 'akit = sakit, with her hand on her tummy'..I gave her a big hug.

She understand a little bit now of what's going on around her

EBM Stock

This is nothing to do with stock market or shares, it is a stock for my Hadif. Some gave a big tumb up..and some will give a stare (male staff). They didn't know what is inside that red plastic bag that I carry everyday to our office pantry. Some thought that I go for 'makan-makan'...well I think there's no need to explain to everbody about my routine trip to that pantry.

I hope that this journey will be a smooth one until next 22 months, it's not easy as I thought before but as they said 'when there's a will, there's a way'

p/s : Sufiya loves to play BIG SISTER now..loves to hold and kiss his lil bro.

Adapting to new life

Today is my fourth day at the office and third day at nursery for the kids, Hadif kinda adaptable with his new environment, he don't mind being all by himself on a matress compared when he's at home. He drink well and sleep well..

Abah's little princess still can't accept the fact that she have to be separated from us every morning, the moment we drive thru Parcel E complex, she started crying..poor little girl...

My life change dramatically not right after Hadif came, but when we are finally came back to Putrajaya, just the four of us, living and struggling and adjusting to new life without any help. It was a headache for me (I have to admit this), the first few days were horrible, I can't think properly of what thing need to be done first.
I take it slowly, step by step until it come naturally...

I'm thankful becoz during Ramadhan we don't have to rush home like before from USJ to Putrajaya, everything are going smoothly as planned, send the kids to nursery, 3 times pumping session at the office, act like a kitchen Diva during lunch break, surfing the internet and blog hop, search info on breastfeeding, feed the baby, change diapers (many times), change their cloth (few times), back in the kitchen again at nite...man !!!!...I could only lie down after midnite..I'm not complaining here, just making a list of things to do..

I haven't started any reading and revision for my BIG exam next year..I need a wake up call..!! few months to go..

Make way for Hadif...

Introducing two 'dark-tall-and-handsome-man' in my life :-)

Many things could happen in one day...and when it has been 58 days, the stories has piled up..god things to share and bitter one to swallow, but life must go on no matter what.

The arrival of Mohamed Hadif on the 30th June was an unexpected event in our life, we were rushing to settled many things before my 'holiday' and on that particular day, we headed to our usual place for our dose of curry and then to a bank and finally to the hospital just to check my condition since it was already four days overdue..surprisingly he choosed to come out on that day and were almost ready to see a whole new strange world..and at 7.15pm with less drama and with the presence of his father, Mohamed Hadif were born..Alhamdulillah it was a smooth journey as I wished for, God has gave me strength and courage.

So,..lets see, last year we were three and now plus another one boy :-) The more the merrier and our living area is not just a space to entertain guest but now a playground with full of love and joy...
