39 Weeks

I'm already on leave and staying at home is not that bad,the only thing is I need to fully occuppied my time instead of just watching CSI, Diva or AFC..all important stuff are ready and packed, floor has been cleaned, minyak yu yee is already in a bag, luggage for the big sister and brother is ready..its all mental preparation now.

So far FMC is good with mild contraction or maybe just Braxton Hicks..I've cut down cabo intake since I gained so much and my body can't support the extra weight anymore.

I also finished four acrylic paintings and they are ready to placed at the right wall.

Even though many things are in place, I still feels like there are too many things to be done...especially mental preparation, its always a different situation, expectation and experience. Its only seven days from now...Insyaallah

But the other half had so much thinking..:-)..from A to Z

Whenever the date is, I hope it should be the right moment. Insyallah

Pameran Dinasour Pusat Sains Negara

It was sunny Sunday with perfect blue sky and he said that the sky reminds of Langkawi..:-)

We had puri with alu, roti canai, nasi lemak, maggi goreng mamak ..all typical Malaysian breakfast before heading to KL for some stuff and later went to Pusat Sains Negara at Bukit Kiara for Dinasour Exhibition, the ticket is only RM25 for family package of 2 adult and 2 child, student price is only RM10 with valid student ID.

It was a little bit crowded with families, strollers and prams and what not..
They were having good time trying to catch the fish at the entrance lobby..and we were greeted by a tunnel made of glass with diver diving among many species of fish inside the tank.

Went straight to the main concourse area, there are two species of dino, the mechanical engineering behind it is just okay for childrens level of understanding and exposure but the kids hate the noise there because there are two big air gun ball house or whatever that spoiled the ambience. Maybe the dino should be left as major attraction with more detailed settings...just my two cents..
Maybe I had preconceived idea before we went there especialy after watching Discovery Channel about dinasour's exhibition at the other end of the globe..:-)

Pusat Sains Negara are divided to few areas for bio, chemistry etc and even for childrens discovery centre.
Second photo from left should be with Hadif but since he can't sit still..it looks like the big guy yang seronok nak posing..:-)

Stuffs for kids...

Biology section...skeletons..of human and bird..

There are also interactive section that responds to movement as seen here..its a good experience for young kids..
They also have this interesting lights kind of disco dance floor... :-) Sufiya with her Angelina Ballerina's twirl..berangan betulll... :-)

It was tiring but at least they had fun and I had bleeding nose after that as usual.. :)

37 Weeks

Nesting instinct has started and baby cot has been cleaned up and assembled at ground floor as well as other stuff. Other arrangement has been made but only He knows the right arrangement :-)

No more craving at this stage, even a bag of buah pelam telor did not gave me any effect anymore.

I just wish that everything went smoothly and safely..Insyaallah

Turn old but feel young .. :-)

I turn 40 today with 4 layer cakes and 40 candles and celebrated with 4 other birthday girls and boy...wait wait....stop right here ..:-)

That magic number will be few years from now..not so fast okay..

I'm too old for any celebration, but my dear boss and friend bought us chocolate cake to celebrate the four of us who are Aries and Pisces, but we gave the honour to cu the cake to the only birthday boy..

Kids and their father sang me a birthday song this morning on the way to theri nursery...I did not expect any gift or flowers..
I just wish for a better health, better living condition, bright kids , happy family, peace of mind...

We went to Kenny Rogers for dinner upon request by Sufiya..

And I bought Paulo Coelho autobiography book today for some inspiration.

Its my birthday today, but there are too many headache to handle at workplace..sometimes I just wish that this baby will pop out early than my due date.. :-))

36 weeks

I'm 36 weeks now ..that means only 4 weeks and few days to go ..or maybe less than that. I have prepared things for the hospital stay, for pantang and even for the kids, their cloths are already inside a trolley bag. My appoinment book is always inside my bag.

People says that you'll have nesting instinct about a week before your labour day.

But previously I did not have these instinct expect for mild labor shows.

Went for weekly check up today, my hb level is getting better from 10.8 to 11.6 except for fbc (full blood count) which is just 108, from 106 during last check up a week ago. They have ordered me for another fbc and the blood sample will be sent to KL or Sg Buloh...another cucuk sana cucuk sini..

But I'm a bit relieved now even for some chaos at the office..I can feel the calmness..I'm sure sure what is it..but it feels good..

Whatever it is, I hope that I'll go through a smooth journey and hope that both of us will be fine..Insyaallah..

Baking...who me...?

We went for breakfast last weekend and parked the car infront of a shop that supplies all materials and ingredients for baking. Hubby was actually heading to Al-Ikhsan Bangi but he came back to us and told me about the shop..(I was just smiling and saying..'as if i have the time to bake')..

Suddenly this little makcik said to me:

'Mama belajar la dengan Bhod Ma buat kek, haaa nanti balik Penang belajar..Bhod Ma pandai buat kek..'...oopppss

She loves cakes and cookies infact anything sweets.

But she don't know that I only bake a cake only twice in my entire life and both turn out to be inedible.

The first one was for raya many years ago, it was a fruit cake, I thought that I've followed the instruction well and proudly placed the tray inside the oven and enjoyed watching my fruit cake rised and rised..and after that came the moment of truth..opened the oven door and the mighty cake suddenly it sunk....:-)

And the second attempt was chocolate cake..and it turn out to be like arang..well almost..

And that was it..no more baking for me..

But now I need to start reading and buying the right tools for my dear little makcik..nanti komplen pulak...:-)

And when the day came..you'll be spotting me wearing this and baking that moist chocolate cake on Saturday morning, carrot cake for tea and Banana cake on sunny Sunday morning...Ohh pleaseeee..what a wishful thinking....

At last...

Hello..I've been caught up with many things at home and workplace and don't have a time to upload these lovely photo from a memorable event in our life.

It was a five years waiting for him..and for us..after spending most of his weekend at Gurney Road, juggling is time for us and his study and finally it was all worth it.

We left for JB on Saturday morning and managed to stayed at Pulai Springs Resort..But since it was considered peak season, the rate is higher but I prefer this hotel anytime..with its spacious room, beautiful and picturesque landscape, beautifully designed swimming pool and contemporary interior design..it is a perfect palce to stay especially with small kids who always need extra space.

We spend most of the evening by the pool, my sister and I just sat down and watch the kids and their abah in the pool.
I like this urn and palm trees with cobalt blue tiles..serene..:-)

Having a splashing good time

My sister and the kids..please ignore a soiled diaper next to Hadif...sapa la yang tak boleh pikir tuu pi tingal suka hati jeee..

We had dinner at Singgah Selalu..macam selalu :)..but with Hadif on his lap, sleeping and skip his dinner

He had to leave early for registration on Sunday morning, but Hadif woke up at 6am and was up and ready and cheerful..and left early at 6.30am and we continued our sleep and by 8am head down for breakfast, they were eager to go to the swimming pool again, but I won't take the risk of being late for their father's event..

By 10.40am we were a;ready at FAB's parking..and it brings back all the memories of those years :-)

Few roads were closed and we had to climb the stairs..it was tiring and Hadif keep on complaining..sakit kaki, seluar ketat etc....

The front area of Dewan Sultan Iskandar and the mosque were full with people and of of flowers in various colours and prices..kids were excited selecting bouquet of roses.
Little girl with bouquet of roses for her father

It was only 15 minutes waiting before the ceremony end, I can't imagined what will happen if I arrived early with two kids and with my big tummy...:-0

Family photo near Dewan Sultan Iskandar, we had bidan terjun photographer that day..

Hugs and kissess from the kids..

I'm relieved that all things went smoothly as planned..Syukur..

'Pose-merenung-masa-depan' infront of the mosque..Congrats dear..

Next year will be my turn okay..:-)

Ghost in High Court

I'm not a big fan of ghost story, Ann Rice and such but I love Tamar Jalis's Bercakap Dengan Jin, it was a great book during rainy night with heavy rain pouring on our atap zink.

Lately I have not watch horror or any movie from that genre except for Hantu Kak Limah, which is very entertaining (and don't compare that movie with any Korean movie)

-------

I received a phone call today about our project in JB,...they told me that there's a news about this office in many newspaper and online..I thought that its going to be like any other project because since last week we have been bombarded with many problems on site..

So I checked Yahoo Malaysia News and found out that it was reported that paranormal activities occurred there

That building was built in the 90's and that particular floor was not occuppied for more than ten years..so you can imagine who and what lives there with a nice view towards Singapore..:-))

After one of my site visit there, I came back to Putrajaya and noticed a big mark on my thigh..I believed that I did not hit anything ...:-)

Luckily during four months of construction period, we did not 'see' or 'hear' anything but the toilet is kind of spooky as well as their corner office..

Hope they will do something about it..:-)

Full Blood Count

Each pregnancy is a unique experience, first time experience was a smooth journey especially when I had the opportunity to just stay at home starting from second trimester (read: quit my job :)..It was all me and my growing tummy, cakes, chocolate, ice cream and beriani gam...

Second one was accidental pregnancy like most of us had....still it was smooth right from the start, no morning sickness..

This third pregnancy is a well planned but conceived at the moment of chaos at workplace, but still I was given strength and courage to travel from the beginning until seven months plus. But with previous experience and fatigue and biological condition, this journey is a little bit different.

There are too many facts and figures written with red pen in my book..one up and the next month one down..and it won't go up again..

Its been like four months that by hb is low..its border line even though I consumed double hematinic each day, eat bayam putih bayam merah, but I don't go kerang and organ dalaman...so I have to depends on other source...

And at next appoinment, I'll be doing this FBC thing..full blood count test..hopefully no major problem and hope by that time my hb level will be at least 11.0g..

Recovered

It started with a removed blog and then no access to email account due to 'unusual activities that has been detected'..

And finally it was all well..and I found out that someone or virus or whatever has been sending numerous email to jkr staff from my email account...grrrr...

I thought that these whole memorable thing will be lost forever or terselit celah2 cyberspace..

Body and Soul

People say that we need food for our body and soul. I need both in a large quantity and dose.

Work wise everything are moving at a slow pace, which is good for me because I'm not in a mood of being productive anymore :)..(well, sometimes it does not pay off when you really work hard, stand with your principles and such)..so for now, I just take it easy, finished whatever task that need to be done and won't take it too hard anymore..at the end of the day, peace of mind is more essential.

Our Langkawi trip was a successful short trip especially when we did not really planned it, we just had an easy holiday..strolling along the beach waiting for the sunset and also enjoy the morning sun, the white sandy beach was smooth on their delicate feet.

I'm currently reading The Kite's Runner by Khaled Hosseini and Brida by Paulo Coelho. Bought these books a year ago but only managed to read Khaled's since last month because Paulo's always occupied my time on board or when I was alone at night in a hotel room. And now both are my company during ante natal check up at Klinik Kesihatan.

Reading can be therapeutic but sometimes it can also be a bit disturbing especially for me who always drowned myself in any plot..Halfway through reading The Kite Runner, I already lives with Amir,Hassan and that half German boy..and the scene from that alley keep on coming and disturbing my mind..

Same goes to Paulo's By the River Piedra I Down And Wept..the story, the plot, each words and each description on the location made me feel like I'm with the character along their journey..

Talking about the power of words and mind..some politician in Boleh Land are afraid of this thingy :-))

Okay, enough of that...whatever food that we need, either for body or soul, it should be a wise choice..have a great week ahead

People come and go...

January is coming to the end complete with colourful event. Times flies without warning, in 12 days Sufiya is going to celebrate her 4th Birthday dan Hadif will be 3by end of June and by that time as well Insyallah we'll be familay of five.

January is not only a month for planning ahead but also to contemplate of happenings around us.

Sometimes our life is just like a newspaper, full with articles or news that make us smile and sometimes make us sad.

It started with my former employee passing, and then my uncle who I blog about last year who have been bedriden for many months and finally laid to rest. Al-Fatihah to both of them.

And last week, another friend whose known to many as Pak Din or Chip has been admitted to HKL due to blockage in his brain, he is now not being himself anymore, he could only open and close his eyes without giving any response. He had prepared cakes and cupcakes for big office's event..but now all he could do is just lie down. No operation that could be done yet due to his condition but only treatment to reduce the blockage..

Due to this condition, another boss who is also living alone has given 'mandat' to his staff, just incase anything happen to him or if he collapsed, just give him water with diluted sugar...

And today, we received another sad news of TKP's father who passed away at 2pm..Al-Fatihah..

People come and go...Seeing ang hearing all these make me worry of TIME..and I wish that I could be better, wiser and spend more time with my family, because time flies....and please don't take it for granted..

Bunny time

I don't really into soft fur and fluffy animal but since Abah has been thinking about buying rabbits for them and constantly checking out his friend's blog which selling US breed rabbits, I just grab the opportunity when a friend offerred to give away her one month old rabbits..

A day before the 'transaction' (FOC actually)..I google about the food, cage, and what not..inclusive of Pet Shop in Bangi but later that day we found one pet shop near our house at Diplomatic Enclave..

Here are our three little bunny and friends for the kids..Sufiya has been asking for pink rabbit, she watched to much Play House Disney especially Dibo the Gift Dragon..(and I really hate that nagging and self conscious pink rabbit..!!)..Oh no..I've been affected by cartoons as well I guess ..:-))

We don't have a name yet for them but I just call that one brown little thing as Brownies..after its colour..the rest we will decide later..

The three siblings used to live in an apartment, so now is the time for them to explore and have fun like what rabbit should do. They jump and went straight for my potted plants..and at first they were choosy eater just like Hadif. They only eat the kangkung leaves and after that decided to finished the whole stalk

The only thing the worries me now is Hadif who constantly open the cage, throw stones and charcoal in..He has strated doing nasty things to these poor thing...co cheeky..

Hazif from next door joined the fun...

Well I guess its not a bad idea afterall having this cute fluffy thingy..the only thing is somebody need to clean their tray, feed them etc..I'll do that chores later, maybe in August..:-))

Outing :Putrajaya Wetland and JJ

Sufiya wakes up everyday and ask me of what day is today..she's expecting its always Sunday..and I wish for the same thing too :-))

This weekend is a bit different now because they have no one to interrupt anymore :-) ..She told me that ..'Abg Qayyum muka mcm sedih je..Abg Farooqi muka happy.." :-)) observation...

Taman Wetland Putrajaya, I like the well kept landscape here and there is one big open field call Padang Semarak and perfect for kite flying. And their public facilities like camping ground, toilets and wakaf are well designed and so ergonomic.Even my child knows how to complaint about design nowadays.

They ran around and sing their current favourite song.."mama ,papa bolo bolo.."

A group of uncivilised people..they came, they collected pebbles..and they thrown those pebbles to the white swans...annndd they seems so happy with what they did..!!

Later that day we went to IOI Mall Puchong and they had a chance again while I went shopping stuffs for 2 and a half kids :-)

It was a tiring day for me at this stage..walking and screaming..

Takziah - Ar Hj Zulkifli Sudin

Life is a journey that if we count by days and hours and minutes it might be a long journey but if we used other scale it might not be as long as we thought.

I was reading Board of Architect's bulletin and today the Obituary section caught my attention..I normally just skip this column.

My former employer - sole propreitor of Arkitek Zul is no longer with us..he passed away on the 16th Dec 2010.

I remember him as a good and kind hearted person, he gave me an opportunity and believe in me even though I was just started working after graduation. He gave me freedom in doing my job without interference on design aspect as well as management.

I will always remember his grey hair, his smile, his struggle to maintain the office and such.

Al-Fatihah

Wishful thinking...again

Day by day it is becoming apparent that we need to switch our path in order to reach our destination and goal. Sometimes its tiring passing thru the same route and facing the same old and lame problems.

I had a thought this morning, a thought that will give a big impact but need to be meticulously crafted so that it won't be a disaster.

I had a big smile while thinking of this...

Sometimes its not worth it defending something just because of our ego and other people's expectation or view....Self satisfaction is far more important.

Pelan

I heard this term almost everyday ..and it su#ks...especially when it comes from that person...

'Pelan' in architectural /engineering terminology means plan = drawing, be it building plan for construction, mechanical or whatever related to drawings.

In Kedah, 'pelan' means slow..and 'buat pelan-pelan' means doing it slowly..or quietly..

Sometimes its ok to take our own sweet time finishing one task, but when it become a habit ..then ada yang nak kena 'pelangkung' sebab dok buat pelan-pelan.

I'm facing this particular person who always give me numerous excuses and whenever I comment about his work, he will said :' takpa puan , kami buat pelan-pelan'. The problem is in construction the word 'pelan-pela' is not applicable to all task or work. If your dateline is next week and you are behind schedule, you should speed up..instead of 'buat pelan-pelan'...

I called him yesterday morning and I could hear bubbles..and I knew that he went fishing..!! fishing while his project dah nak lingkup..and he admit that and told me that he was at site a day before until 4am..Oh come on I'm not a newbie...and when I called his big boss, I knew that he was not at site, but in Padang Besar, entertaining some government officer..gth..gth

Few weeks before, the background was sora ayam itik..I wonder why we always end up with kontraktor cap ayam yang pi memancing ikan..???

And during meeting, he received a call and dengan selamba badak, jawab phone and he was talking about dedak burung..goshh...

They've test my limit..and I've done my part, appropriate letter has been sent to relevant authority..puas hati aku..jangan main-main...

I guess, this contractor should change their company name to something that is related to aym, itik, dedak burung and ikan..!!
